Additionally, our app will serve travelers, helping them find the businesses they need based on their service or product requirements when visiting different cities. By fostering stronger community connections and supporting local commerce, we envision WelkomBiz as the go-to platform for all South Africans and visitors seeking reliable, local business information.

WelkomBiz was founded by a group of dedicated directors who saw a significant gap in how residents and businesses in Welkom, Riebeeckstad, Virginia, and Odendaalsrus connect. As residents themselves, they often struggled to find companies that provided specific services and products in the local area. Realizing there was no comprehensive directory that offered this information, they decided to create a solution. In 2024, WelkomBiz was born—an innovative app designed to list all the companies in Welkom and the surrounding areas in one convenient place. Our app provides detailed profiles for each company, including contact information, services and product offerings, introductory videos, and addresses. This ensures that residents have easy access to all the information they need, right at their fingertips. With WelkomBiz, you can effortlessly find and connect with local businesses, making life simpler and more efficient. Our platform also benefits businesses by ensuring their information remains updated and easily accessible to the public.
